Been really impressed with these tracks so far, kinda regretting not picking up the vinyl.

 

Was originally unsure about this album, but so far 3/3 for me. Good to see they've (hopefully) finally found a solid lineup.

not feeling this. The beginning is one of my favorite guitar riffs of all time and it just doesn't sound as good with the distortion and the harmonics. sounds so much better on the recorded version.

 

judging a whole song by the first 10 seconds :/

 

I'd honestly prefer if their newer albums were produced roughly like this. I prefer this to the overly layered and produced sound. Every instrument in this is perfectly clear, it makes for such a fun listening experience.

Tilian's vocals are always so good they hurt. Love this raw vibe they've added to the track.

 

Two separate statements. Not feeling this. Then a complaint. The whole song is ruined by the tone of the guitar vs the original. I get live vs studio and that they'll never be the same but the whole dynamic of the song is altered and as i said, not feeling it.

 

his voice to me has no oomph. sounds more like background music.
