I think it’s going to take soooo long before we’re in a place to address things like MJ, because that one is more complex in my honest opinion

But, yeah. Like on one hand it gets frustrating feeling like no one’s actually being held accountable or having consequences but then there are lots of people who did get shamed out of their positions and dropped from the public eye due to being cancelled

 

Also for being a holy day the trolls sure are out in full force on the gram

I meant to add that for me " cancel culture " implies that they don't deserve it and they all deserve it

I think the term is used by people who are using it in bad faith like @EmmanuelSCastle talked about, but I mean as far as literal it’s definitely a phenomenon to be named/acknowledged

Edit- also meant to add, that while people don’t actually get completely cancelled too often, “cancel culture”, referring specifically to something happening and then a wave of people calling to cancel them, is obviously very real.

 

Yeah I've done it for a couple of movies but I'm heading to spend any money on movies with all the streaming options I have now, plus the library.

I do need to convert a few if my DVDs to hd though

Ok when you do upgrade those to HD make sure you get the bluray barcode online and scan those instead of the DVD ones. That way you'll pay $2 per movie vs $5
