I guess I just don’t know how to say that I never questioned things and now I’m questioning a lot of things haha
I think I just feel more aligned with the queer umbrella and there’s literally NO reason to shy away from it except for the fact that A lot of people would make jokes about me being gay back in the day (when I was certain I was 100% straight) and it was really frustrating and annoying to feel like people didn’t believe me or were invalidating how I thought I felt lol

Also discovering my queerness feels very different than what I assume it’s usually like, which made me hesitant to put any kind of label on it or whatever

But yeah it’s been a fun few months of questioning and self discovery ha

 

I'll never forget my friend in middle school who was SOOOOO obsessed with Britney Spears like he had a cardboard cutout of her in his room and everything and I always suspected he was gay but I was like he needs to do this in his own time and when he graduated high school he came out and I haven't talked to him in like 15 years but I think about him and his love for Britney and I hope he's doing well. Britney is the gateway straight and the gateway gay tbh

Honestly tho

As I progressed through my 20s and questioned why I was so alone, it felt like I wasn't normal. Then I found out that demi/ace was a thing, and it's just been really freeing and almost like a weight has been lifted. I didn't want to label it because I thought it would put me in a box, but really it's just a way to know I'm not alone.

I hope you can feel some similar freedom in discovering yourself!
