I'll take In-N-Out over Shake Shack.

I've had the former only once and the latter plenty o times.

 

In N Out has bad fries and the grilled cheese is terrible. The burgers are ok

 

I also think Whataburger is so specialized in general it shouldn't be in the battle, I see it the same way as Taco Bell, you just go for their weird ass favorites and not because you specifically want a burger

If we're looking at it specialized? I have it over In N Out. If we're looking at standard burgers? In N Out is better.

Whataburger is also all about how you want your burger too. the first like five times I went there I just ordered their burgers as they come, but once I started ordering more to my specifications, I fell in love with it

The ingredients are so fresh at in-n-out, and the burger is prepared so perfectly, it's basically impossible for me not to pick it. Fries are just okay, made much better by ordering them well done. But the burger is so good it doesn't even matter.
