What's funny is I think he has personally grown past the immature misogynist stuff, but his one album that didn't lean on it didn't do well, so he's putting on that persona for a lot of the music he's doing now

I do think he's one of the best rappers from a technical standpoint, but he's past the point of making good albums I think, idk I haven't listened to his last 2 at least

I feel like that's what his lyrics were always based on. There are a couple of songs I like and find catchy, but 99% of his lyrics are so negative and shitty, that I have no desire to ever support him. I've hated him for a long time, and seeing him using the f word in 2018 was just a reminder that he's always been a giant POS.

Yeah I don't fully give Jay-Z a growth pass on that. And funny enough a lot of that growth had to do with being around Kanye which...welp.
