following along with the lyrics and liking this a lot more than the first time. there's some amazing stuff here, the ending of "Gull Lake" is gutting

 

"The Kings of Halloween" is up there with the best songs from any of Dan's projects. Such a great song.

 

Coming Up For Air might be one of my favorite songs Dan has ever written but the rest of that EP was kinda meh for me

 

"Grace Period Over" is one of Ace's best songs ever, don't @ me

 

Exactly this.
He said he was upfront with everyone about this, but people were definitely hoping he'd ask to publicly release them. He said that these were new versions of the songs he worked on from the song shop, so the song shop recipients have the 7" with the original songs, and they now have the songs from the LP as well.

 

I’m one of the people he did songs for and I get get asked about it but he didn’t end up using mine

 

My first copy of the record (solid green) came in the mail yesterday but I haven't opened it yet. The other 3 (the bundle from Dan's store) is on the way.

Anyone else gotten a copy yet?

 

Maybe I'm just extra sensitive today but basically every song on this album is making me cry
