finally a good question. i assume keeping them alive is important to you. pathos are easy to maintain and look pretty nice. spider plant are really fucking cool looking as they get longer. i like fiddle leaf fig but theyre a bit pricey as they are a large-ish tree. Snake plants are cool and fill vertical space quite well. A peace lily if you want something with a blooms a flower (chase hase one of these and he hasnt killed it yet so i assume you can manage the same). also most succulents and cacti are the most easy to take care of and can do really fun things with.
