no. you hold the door open only if the person is within a distance where they won't have to awkwardly speed up their pace due to a feeling of obligation to hurry since you're holding the door open for them. If they can't make it to the door using a normal walking pace then you go on. if they're close behind and don't have to rush, you hold. this isn't rocket science!
@Mr. Serotonin at what age did you realize you didn’t like snacks? Does is have anything to do with being raised as a dog until you were 6?
When you're raised as a dog, you become accustomed to eating only when you absolutely need it. You don't have the luxury of snacking throughout the day. You eat when food is in your bowl and that's the end of it.
