What would our perfect joint vacation look like?

One thing you wish you could instantly change about yourself without any of the learning/growth struggles?

I had a dream that I finally got another Rottweiler last night. Does this mean I should go get one?

I'd probably choose snow crab, it's not my favorite but it's the one I can get in good quality the most often and as a result that would make this plight more tolerable

My ideas do. I wish I had a strong craft and work ethic and could just create out of scratch but I don't at all. I feel like nothing I create is out of a "What's next?" feeling, or a desire to constantly create, but out of having an idea randomly enter my head that I desperately want to exist, and knowing if I want to exist I have to make it myself haha.

A perfect world would exclude humans before turkeys

My favorite joke I wrote is kinda depressing when I tell it to people but it makes me laugh, it's about how expecting a child changes your mental checklist when it's expecting a child with someone you're not with. About how when you're in a relationship and pregnant you think "I hope we can live somewhere with good schools and in a good neighborhood and I hope we can treat our child right and teach them important things and they grow up smart and loved" and when you're separated from the child's mother all you can think is "I hope I can get an apartment near all that"

A joke I wish I wrote was on Pete Holmes's album "Nice Try, The Devil" and it's the joke about how when you have a cat who loves you it's earned love, and people say "My dog loves me" but yeah they'd love a pile of sticks with your t-shirt on it

This is tough for me because full-length movies are probably the way I digest comedy the least hahaha

Hmmm perfect vacation...somewhere warm because otherwise I'd refuse to go hahaha, somewhere that feels civilized but also doesn't just feel like America-lite. Honestly I'd let you choose by giving that criteria of what I'd want

I wish I could play basketball well. Everything else I can learn and grow into, but I will never have the strength and vertical to dunk and I want that. I think it's a fun way to work out but I'm so bad at it that I can't do it

Rottweilers are nice, however they are still dogs, so I am legally required to say no

We went to the laundromat on the weekend so I could help her do her laundry, and I had such a great time at a place I dread even thinking about and was like "Yeah forever sounds good, I'm gonna marry her someday"

I'm not sure, that'd be a fun trip though and I know we'd be down for it

 

So I guess we’re going on vacation to the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia in August. Plan accordingly.

Favorite numbers are 9 (my lucky number growing up) and 23 (for Arian Foster and Devin Hester funny enough not Michael Jordan)

Favorite planet is Venus because it's beautiful and also is probably very warm

Favorite book is Penpal by Dathan Auerbach which is not an excellent book by any means but I enjoy it a lot and it sparked a lot of conversation, I could maybe think of one I love more but I'd have to think about it more

Favorite candy is Reese's as a runaway leader

Favorite animal is the sea otter because they're so damn cute. Second favorite is a cat and third favorite is the stingray

Favorite soda not named Dr Pepper is probably IBC root beer. I don't frequently drink soda outside of Dr Pepper though

Favorite beer is Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde, it is my go-to at all times it is available

Favorite cigarettes are Marlboro Reds

If they don't have Marlboro Reds (which is extremely rare since they're everywhere) I'll get Camel Reds

Favorite horror movies are Get Out (I hate horror movies but loved Get Out) and Saw (my taste in horror obviously isn't great)
