Would you vote for me or Jason if either of us were the Democratic candidate for president? Do you have a favorite chicken wing and/or sauce for wings? Do you ever feel like a traitor to lefty causes when you eat meat like I do?
I'll answer the first and third of David's - abstain from voting tbh, Dom should run on his own ticket reeee - yeah he should. I'm vegetarian. I'll make him some good food don't you worry. Nom.
1. It would depend on your policies, to be honest. If you’re trying to do some social democratic stuff, yeah. If you’re trying to be Hillary, then no. 2. I like my wings with old bay. If you don’t know, you should try it. It originates in Baltimore. 3. No, because there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Moreover, no individual act does anything to address capitalism. There would need to be a communal effort towards the reduction of eating meat for it to be of any consequence. Even then, with the advent of cloning technologies, it is less about eating meat than it is about factory farming.
I think he’s a terrible speaker, but a good alternative to who is on offer. His healthcare plan is good as well.
if you like any of these foods, what kinds/flavors? - smoothie - muffin - cakes and cheesecakes - cereal - cookies - sandwich - salad - ice cream
I haven’t had enough smoothies to know which is my favorite. I prefer blueberry muffins I like chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake Chocolate chip cookies Raisin Bran and Cinnamon Toast Crunch I really like salami and provolone sandwiches I don’t like salads. I get my greens elsewhere. Oreo ice cream is the best
For smoothies, I just like strawberry and banana (w/ a bit of plain yogurt). I like chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies, and blueberry muffins the most too! YAAAAY
Do you like to eat toast? If so, what do you have with it? How do you like your coffee? If you were an animal what would u be? A fluffy penguin? Do you have any magazine subscriptions?
I like toast. Usually, it’s a side to eggs and bacon. I prefer raisin and cinnamon bagels, though. I like it with cream and a lot of sugar. I’d be a lion, though penguins are dope, too. I subscribe to n+1, The Baffler, New Left Review and Viewpoint Magazine
No, you’d be more like late era Eli Manning, ie, ineffectual, past his prime and coasting on a name alone.
@Dominick lets say hypothetically you move to a new city, adopt a puppy, and are looking to get out and meet people and get your pup some exercise. So you take your new puppy to the dog park last Thursday. While you were there a cute young woman about your age approaches you about your dog and you two begin talking. Before you know it, it’s two hours later and it’s just you two in the dog park alone after dark. You just spent the last few hours talking about your dogs and your jobs. You acknowledge that it’s late and say that you need to get home. She agrees with you and you two leave the park together. Once outside the gate, you wish each other goodnight and go in opposite directions. As you’re driving home you are replaying in your head all the times you two made each other laugh and the way she smiled at you. Youre smiling all over again just thinking about it. Once parked, you begin to type to your group text of friends about your excitement of meeting this woman and how great things went. Then it dawns on you. During the entire two hours of talking you never once exchanged names. You only remember her dogs name and that she worked for a wedding planner. You realize you missed an opportunity to at least introduce yourself and make a friend, if not a potential date or romantic interest. Today, you again take your dog to the dog park. Before you even get out of your car you can see the woman you met last week! You’re elated but you try and keep it cool. She asks you about things you two talked about last time. She remembered your family coming to visit and asked how your puppy did with new people. She asked how your job was going and how you puppy was adjusting to your work schedule and if you talked to anyone back in Missouri I mean Maryland. After 30 minutes of catching up and laughing, her and her roommate announce they have to go. You wish her a goodnight and on her way out she closes the gate behind her and takes a few steps out. You watch her as she goes and then she turns around to smile and wave at you and says “it was good seeing you here again.” You wave and say “have a good one.” You realize after a few short moments you again forgot to get her name and possibly work up the courage to ask for her number, maybe shielding the awkwardness by phrasing it like “our two puppies sure play well together. If you want to coordinate times for them to come play here or meet up somewhere else, we could exchange numbers.” What would you do next?
@Meerkat do you still do work as an extra? is it weird to be a twitter icon? Not a question, but I enjoyed our chat the other day.
