I am so in! Can it be anything of our choice as long as it adds up to $20? (prices will be different based on regions/locations)

 

we need to come up with a list of 3-4 mandatory items and then let others pick out whatever food items they want to round out to ~$20. i think that would be the best system.

 

Just don't pick shitty items.

 

@Larry David would you be on a chorus reality show? Top 5 chorus users?

 

My proposal:

1. Cheesy Gordita Crunch - ~$3.50
2. Crunch Wrap Supreme - ~$3.50
3. Beefy 5-layer burrito - ~$2.00

which brings the mandatory total to around $9.00-10.00, so half the challenge will be required and half will let the competitor choose, which i think is fair.

I wouldn't be able to narrow it down to 5, but most people from A1 and Mysterious thread would make my favorites list!

The only one I'm okay with is the first one. If you're spending $20 on food at taco bell... that's gonna be a fuckton regardless.

 

I disagree with this method, everyone should have to have the exact same meal. It's not like the rule is to run 200 meters and then pick how far you want to run to finish the 400 meters.

why? are taco bell prices universal across the US? what about tax? i think the spirit of the challenge is the dollar amount of taco bell, regardless of what you get you're going to get a fuck ton of food for $20 there.

 

crunchwrap supreme is nasty. 5 layer burrito would be acceptable I suppose. But if I'm eating an absurd amount of taco bell, I at least want to enjoy the food. Maybe what we need is an approved item list so any combination of those items is okay.

 

I would make 3 or so different combinations of items that equal about $20 that way people get some kind of choice.

All taco bell is fuckin' disgusting. Fast food in general. Anything that congeals after an hour or so.
