Options for cool fast food in Jersey are limited, also I grew up on Jersey Mike's so I love it, it's clearly the best fast food sub chain. And Carl's Jr. is awesome what are you on about. Also, wasn't trying to intrude on your day, just thought I'd join the conversation. SORRY
I figured you'd have lots of family run, Italian joints to get your subs from since you're in Jersey! Carl's Jr.. I just don't like it. I'm sorry! I like your #1, #2, and #5 answers a lot though.
Oh yeah I mean I've had better subs from local places, but not from any other fast food sub place (i.e. Jimmy John's, Subway, etc.). Also, I had to leave Wendy's off the list because of what they're doing with their vegetable sourcing, they're in the doghouse for me. Never had In-n-Out because I've never been out west.
What's going on with Wendy's? I highly recommend it and Culver's too! People in the Food thread convinced me to try it and it was amazing.
No Culver's around me, also we only have the fake Steak n' Shakes around here, no full ones. None of those Midwest chains are in my area. Except White Castle, which I also love. UPDATED 9/28: WHY BOYCOTT WENDY'S
