@kaylasananjou apologies if this was asked and answered, but i swear i remember you getting engaged when apnet still existed...did you get married??? or is marriage for the birds? or did birdperson just make this shit up in his head?

 

hahaha no, i didn't get married. we broke up in the fall of 2015. it was for the best! i have been dating my current boyfriend "officially" since january 2016 though, and if i could be a total sap for a minute, i do think i want to marry him!

 

a word of advice to all youngins: getting engaged at 20 to someone almsot 7 years older than you is a bad idea and you should just chill out and live your life and date people closer to your own age.

 

What about 27 and 28, is that fine?

 

lol yes. i'm just not a fan of big age gaps anymore. i thought i was WAY more grown up at 20 than i actually was.

 

ah well i am glad it all worked out for the best!

and i too would like to caution everyone about getting engaged and/or married young. life is short, but it's not THAT short.

oh my god so i'm listening and now i'm remembering my ex telling me that he met the lead singer 3EB and told him "motorcycle drive by" was his favorite song and the guy told him "eh. it's fine." lmaoooooo

but real talk i really like this and also it reminds me of the maine's latest album (or ... rather...the maine's latest album reminds me of this? I guess?)

 

American Candy is one of my favorite records and that is still amazing to me.

Yeah The Maine get that comparison all the time, haha. I think it's the guitar tones and use of reverb and echo.

ok i have also apparently heard "blinded" before!! it is v familiar.

i love when bands have a "mood" around them and i def get the vibe that 3EB is like that based on these.

 

Definitely have like a bittersweet, youthful, rebellious spirit to me.
