honestly im still trying to parse out the dating scene but generally speaking ive learned that making the first move, be it sliding into DMs or engaging in casual conversation for the first time, is very important because you arent belaboring things. best to just shoot your shot than to stew on it. dont be afraid of rejection, i used to be and still kinda am but ive learned that its not the worst thing that can happen. i think this one is obvious and this isnt directed at you in particular but i see this A LOT in my real life friend group as well as i used to be one of these guys: dont be a #NiceGuy. dont declare how nice you are or how youd buy this person the world just to see them smile, dont force yourself into their lives. if they leave you on read, barely engage with you in person, or just generally seem distant its best to just take the L and move on.

Chicken, i live in like the seafood capital of the south and i despise seafood

yes. turkeys are wonderful despite how dumb they are. i know this is sterotypical but ive talked about this before, my neighbors are also family members mostly distant cousins and aunts/uncles, and my grandad used to live right up the road from us on the dirt road i live on. we all had various animals like goat, chickens, and even turkeys. turkeys are so dumb that when it rains they have to be put under a shelter because theyll stare up at the sky and drown. also cows are dumb, if you put a blanket over a cows head it thinks its dead and will starve itself until it actually dies.
