they're comfortable and easy to put on and off. Take good care of your feet, obviously, but that goes without saying.

the answer to this depends on the day and what in life i find most important at the time. my first serious girlfriend and our first date is one. i thought she was way out of my league and i asked her to go to a Gaslight Anthem show with me. she had never listened to them, but said yes, and she was an absolute blast. dancing all over despite not knowing the words, really falling in love with the band. we went back to my place and spent the rest of the night listening to them. i think that's the most infatuated i have been and ever will be with someone is that weekend. after a couple of romantic missteps it was incredibly validating. we would date for 5 more years over 10+ more Gaslight shows and part amicably and i still think the world of her. but that night shaped the next half of a decade of my life and i'm very fond of it (i've since got the poster for that gig autographed by the band and framed).

i guarantee you if you ask me this in June my answer will be the first Gasight reunion show haha.

I want to tell you my Gaslight story but ask me for it on my day, it's similarly touching

 

so. many. i was the cringey "good guy" in high school. would see a girl was disinterested and tell myself it was some wrong i needed to right instead of stepping back and realizing i was a knob. one year i bought a girl a huge box of Nerds because she loved them and gave them to her on V Day and she literally would not accept them from me lmao

no but i fuckin wanna.

 

I feel like Miami would crush my soul.
