I remember when Hotline Bling just existed as an OVO Sound rip. It was labelled in my iTunes as Cha Cha remix until the official iTunes dropped.
Misunderstood caught me so off guard the first time. I didn't expect him to make a song that sounded like this. And then to have Young Thug on the same song. This album has a lot more variety than I expected. It's great, obviously.
I can offer very little opinion on the music of DRAM, but I got to see him open for Glass Animals in New York City a couple weeks ago. I'm not really a fan of the way he came off, asking how many people in the crowd were dudes looking to get their dicks wet tonight by taking home a good-looking girl in the crowd after getting a couple of drinks in her and getting her woozy...... I will be honest and say I cleaned up a bit of what he said in his message because it was pretty disgusting. I just looked over at my wife and she looked at me, and we just both questioned as if this was really happening. I realize this has nothing to do with his new album but as somebody who never had heard of him it left a sour taste in my mouth and I figured I would share the story.
