So stoked to get my LP this'll be the first CEG album I own on vinyl.

September is such a far away release date from the time they announced it, was there a reason for that?? The release date is almost half a year from when they announced it

 

3 months and some change? haha

 

Yeah it wasn't toooooo long but compared to most album announcements it seemed like an eternity.

I'm on a big CEG binge. Joes lyrics are so, what's the word? Specific? Literate? He just puts together the strangest series of words and descriptors. The weirdest part is I find them all to be very relatable and beautiful.

oh shit this was announced in MAY my bad haha. It feels like it's been too long, jesus. I really REALLY want this album, haha. I've hardly played the singles so that I don't wear them out.

 

The noises Joe gets out of that Jazzmaster of his are incredible. The keys also add such a unique, almost metallic texture to the songs.

 

Hahaha it certainly feels like six months, and that's coming from someone who has it.

 

It's not like they need a catchy single for radio play or anything, but if we're pegging their best hooks I think it's "WELL"

 

"WELL" has his effect that leaves me
Feeling kind of displaced from time, the song seems like it loops on for a long period and everything around me feels like it's accelerating but then it's only like 3.5 minutes

I get it for sure, but I feel like HAH would have a lot of people a lot more optimistic about the album were it put out there first haha

Wish has grown on me a lot

 

I've played the shit out of these singles and still haven't gotten tired of them. I'm so excited for this. Excited for the demos that are gonna come with the preorder too

 

I had no idea there were demos with the preorder, I might shell out for those. Demos are always interesting to me, for the most part
