I dig the song. In on anything they do after Lose.

 

Wish has warmed up to me. after the first verse's vocals i love it.

 

Yeah. It sucks because there's been a lot of great conversations in the Hotelier thread and between Jason and others about writers talking about advances, and I really don't want to be that guy who just brags about having it (so I guess if you have any questions, just let me know). But this album is seriously so so good and I just want to be able to tell people about it. I can't wait to write about it, idk why they gave it to me so early, but...y'all are in for a treat.

 

im going to be the savage that asks - is it better then LOSE tho?

 

Any other songs with vocals like the ones on Wish?

 

Hahaha. It's tough because LOSE is what got me into the band and that album's meant a ton to me this past year. It's also worth mentioning I'm just now familiarizing myself with Why There Are Mountains and Lenses Alien, which I've only listened to a few times each (and I thoroughly enjoy both of them). But after about a week with it...well, I haven't been listening to anything else except The Hotelier and Radiohead.

Long story short: I'm holding back, but yeah, it's currently my favorite CEG album. It's not really comparable with LOSE tho

 

I mean, it's all Joseph's voice, but yeah, all of the vocals are better on the rest of the tracks (I wasn't 100% sold on them on "Wish" either).

i figured that jordan posted the link to the whole article with the song/tour dates, it was before the edit!!!!

 

I really like that song. The bass is downright dirty. I'll probably going to be singing the chorus melody in my head for the rest of the day.

love the alex g reference, i'd say this song is more indicative of the album than "wish." production is raw but the songs are very catchy
