I dont think anything on here quite tops Gary Condit for me, Dancing Days might come close. This album feels the most streamlined of the four, and I like how they subverted their own theme of "the long song is the opener" by putting the longest song on the album as the closer. Dont know if thats ever been intentional but its something I notice.

Joe sounds great on this btw

Yup, I'm loving this. It feels a bit more immediate than the rest of their disco (perhaps because I listened to the prerelease tracks so often), but it's still just as dense as you'd expect and I can't wait to unpack all of it. Dying for the lyrics.

Edit: Ha, was not expecting Beam.

    It is.

Mallwalking is an instant favorite. Holy hell. So glad I decided to listen to this album through headphones.

    Seriously, I need the lyrics.

Three songs in, and I can tell I will be listening to this album a *lot* over the next few months. This is amazing.

(I didn't listen to any of the pre-released songs, so it's all new to me.)

Yeah I've had this little while and it's stunning. The back half in particular is so well crafted. Probably my favorite CEG record

Am I crazy or do I hear some spoon instrumentals throughout this?

The way this album's theme fits perfectly with the sound reminds me of Goodness. It's like every piece of it was carefully planned to craft a beautiful album. It literally feels like I'm in an 80's movie, and its super nostalgic feeling too. I can't wait to get the lyrics.

The production on this is insane and the 80's influence is perfect. Seriously the experience with my new headphones so far haha.
