One thing I'm not entirely satisfied with, and someone direct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't really seem like a ton of things can be done until you get to Act 2. I mean that in the sense that, yeah you can run around and stop assaults and the typical NCPD tasks that are already there all over the map, but as far as any sort of in-depth side jobs, there isn't much to do quest-wise outside of the main storyline until you hit Act 2. The NCPD stuff isn't satisfying at all. Maybe I'm just used to the Witcher 3 format, having just recently finished it.
I've felt this as well. My generally go to with big RGPs like this is power through the story, then start a new game with a better understanding of mechanics. Like how to make money and the main story barely gives you any.
Just rolled credits. 30 hours playtime with only doing one side quest arc, though it heavily impacted my ended. Won't spoil the ending but the arc I did that had a factor in my final choices was the aldecaldo's and romancing Panam.
Had a good bug last night when I got ready to do the hotel heist and when I got outside with Jackie waiting for me with the car, the motorcycle next to it slingshotted itself at the car, tipping it over. The game would not correct this so I had to reload the save point to play the mission lol.
HOLY SHIT. Like I can’t think of another time this has happened, unprecedented. Good on Sony though giving people refunds.
I really feel like they got left behind in development and when they realized just how far behind they were, they tried to fix it but it was not enough and too late.
Idk if Sony pulling was the best move. Maybe a disclaimer that the game from a development standpoint is breaking on ps4?
It’s a harsh move yes but considering how poorly optimized the game is for the player base, hard to really blame them.
Put in my request for the PS4 version. As much fun as I'm having with it, I want to start a new file anyway and am fine with waiting until they get their shit together.
