I think I've only ever fucked with Domestica and The Ugly Organ but am now doing an album run through. Liked the first two full lengths much more than I anctipated tbh. The Storms of Early Summer had some bangers. I'm looking forward to doing anything past TUO cause I don't think I ever listened to anything else. I like both new songs a lot too!

 

I wish I could listen to Happy Hollow for the first time again. Have fun with that one

 

Gun to my head Happy Hollow might be my #1 Cursive album. Tim was firing on all cylinders lyrically with that one.

 

Happy Hallow was a disappointment for me after the ugly organ which is one of my favorite albums ever but a few years afterwards I realized just how good it was.

Happy Hollow clicked with me from the first single. Adore that album just as much as The Ugly Organ.

 

Let's not act like Dorothy at Forty isn't a ripper and one of their best singles.

 

I was not a fan at first because it was different from the ugly organ. Love it now. Bad Sects is easily one of their best songs.

 

Okay listening to happy hallow now and fuck this album just starts with a heater and then into Dorthy at 40 god damn

 

they don't have a bad record imo, but TUO and Happy Hollow are two of my very favorites

 

Also forgot how good flag and family is hot damn

 

I was always partial to "At Conception" and "Rise Up! Rise Up!"

 

Man, it’ll be hard to top Organ for me. That is a special album that means a lot to me. On to Happy Hollow next though!

 

Late getting back to this but Happy Hollow is fantastic. I'm gonna spend some time with this one.

 

Botch Job reminds me a No Knife song. I dig it.

 

New record is shaping up nicely. Looks like had a lot of fun with this video.

 

My brother told me they are planning shows in Europe. The last time they have played Belgium there were maybe 20 people watching them. It's a shame they have like zero airplay around here.

One listen of Mama, I'm Swollen is pretty dark especially coming off the heels of HH. I really fell in love with HH and will definitely return to it often. Gonna try and spin Mama a few more times and drink it in more.

 

i just listened to HH this morning and it’s pretty criminal how i undervalued it when it came out just cuz of the absence of strings. so many awesome songs and moments.

 

Mama, I’m Swollen is a good album that doesn’t get the attention it deserves in a consistently good discography.

 

I was a huge fan of this band for UO and HH and then fell off at Mama and have never really returned to them. Need to spend some more time with that album and what came after.

 

Mama is great and highly underrated. Maybe not quite at the level of TUO and HH, but very good

 

mama is a grower not a shower. amazing lyrics on that one.
