The world needs new Cursive right now. New song reminds me of Weatherbox, Cursive, and Smashing Pumpkins. I love the production on it. Pretty cool song, I think it will continue to grow on me. Song below:

Thanks, snagged the colored vinyl too. The mock-up looks like it will be stunning. The new song was just what I was hoping they would make. So glad they’re back.

They were losing me on their last 2 albums, but this sounds like a nice return to form!

This. I hear a strong harken back to the elements of Ugly Organ that I loved.

  8. Finally. Boy, have I missed this band.

Mama I'm Swollen is pretty great if you ask me, but I didn't like the Gemini one that much.

  10. I don't return to I Am Gemini as often as I should, but I always thoroughly enjoy it when I do. Love Mama, I'm Swollen. Band hasn't put out a bad record tbh

I think Gemini flew under everyone’s radar because the concept wasn’t as fleshed out or as provocative as Ugly Organ. They killed those Gemini songs live (namely, this house alive, the sun and the moon, and drunken birds). Give it another try, it has aged well.
