Seems like more of a cinematic venture this time out.

I am so ready to cringe.

 

Will HBO be running any sort of Curb marathon before the premiere? I guess I could catch up on HBO Go, but something about catching it on live TV.

Rewatching the entire series before Oct. 1. Halfway through season 2.

Anyone else have trouble signing into HBO Go? Everytime I sign in, I have to reactivate the code, but when you go online, it's an activation form and I type in my name and it says 'this name already exists'...always takes me like 10 minutes to actually get into HBO Go. So annoying.

 

It's been working fine for me.

 

Anyone catch LD on Kimmel the other night?

 

He was incredible! I can't get my LD tattoo soon enough!

 

I have it waiting for me, but I haven't watched it yet. Glad to hear it was a good interview.

Very much looking forward to the premiere but very much not looking forward to how watching this show again is going to turn me neurotic.

 

Started this for the first time yesterday. I can't believe I waited this long, really hilarious!

Anyone see The Ringer's article this week? They attempted to rank the 80 episodes in order.

Very curious rankings. They think The Freak Book is the #1 best all-time episode. I'd have that one in the bottom 20. What are they thinking? Is this really an episode people think is top-tier? It's good and fine but......

Also, they really blew #77 "The Therapists", that one is top 20 for sure.

The Freak Book is so good.

 

I'm good with this list. My top 5 episodes are make the top 12. My only issue is The Baptism at 67. That's a top 10 episode

 

Not surprising that seasons 2 and 3 are represented so well at the top, as that was the show at its strongest. However, I can't really think of a "bad" Curb episode; the one where he goes to Heaven is the closest thing.

 

About 75 of the 80 are "so good" in my mind.......never thought of that one as all that special. It's funny, it's good, but not special ???
