Leon immediately realizing that it's insane that every episode of Seinfeld is him finding fault with the hottest woman on the planet and not realizing that he's Kramer was amazing
Slow start but once everything started to build up in court and the witnesses came in everything was perfect, great finale
Yeah that was pretty much perfect. Ending was a little all over the place but who cares, it was hilarious from start to finish I'm really gonna miss this show, few shows can make me laugh so much from scene to scene. Would love to see Larry do something else now but would also be totally fine with a well-deserved retirement (probably filled with golf)
Great finale. Glad this ended before it jumped the shark. By no means has it been peak Curb this season, but still funny and enjoyable. The reason Richard keeps his back to the door at restaurants was gold.
This made me want to cry, especially Richard's little speech. My favorite comedy ever tied with Seinfeld of course. Going to miss them tremendously. At least we still have the podcast for a while, been doing a slow re-watch with every episode they've been covering.
Larry's "what?" response to Richard saying he and his new gf might have kids absolutely killed me. Fantastic finale of my favorite show.
It is really remarkable that David managed to remain relevant for almost 40 years between the two shows. The landscape is full of comedians younger than him who have resorted to bad right-wing reactionary comedy because they have long since stopped being relevant, but since he so rarely relied on punching down he has been able to continually comment on the absurdities of modern life.
s11 is a really tough watch after 10 lmao, this storyline with the aspiring actress is absolutely terrible. seems like you all really enjoyed the last season though so I'm looking forward to that
There’s a lot that’s hilarious but as a whole I’d say both 10 and 11 are not as strong as earlier or mid-range seasons. There’s still some great stuff though. The Jon Hamm stuff, Woody Harrelson’s character, that whole episode with Leon’s House Husband scheme.
The Mexico destination wedding in S10 stands out as the last one that had me absolutely dying the way almost every episode did in the mid seasons. S11-12 had their moments, but honestly, the dropoff was fairly steep for me.
10 was fantastic, I honestly loved it front to back. 11 has just been a slog, the arc is not good and it feels weirdly empty with no Marty and barely any Danson/Lewis at all, the show just works better with the full ensemble. the addition of Vince Vaughn is actually working really well though so far and yeah the watermelon episode was great
Thinking on it, I feel like the finale gave everything I wanted and more. We got some amazing stuff with Ted, Richard, Suzie, and even Cheryl with the Mexican food bit. The only thing missing was a final Wanda Sykes appearance.
