This was easily the funniest episode of the season. Most laughs for sure. Jon Hamm is just such a pro at everything and it’s infuriating.
Yeah, I loved Jon Hamm just hanging out for the most part lol, fantastic episode. The stuff with Larry and Leon's app was great too, I love how there are several fundamental flaws with the idea if you even barely think about it lol
I came in here to post that this might be my favorite season yet, thinking I'm crazy, but it seems like a lot of people echo that sentiment. Jon Hamm and everyone always saying his first and last name was so funny.
It’s been a great season, but I don’t think it touches seasons 1-4 for me. Probably the best since season 7 though.
Could not disagree more. Last season started off so focused and funny with the Ted/Cheryl stuff and the fatwa plot, and those stories developed perfectly over the course of the season. This season began with a muddle of like five different plots, including that MeToo plot that went literally nowhere and was dropped unceremoniously after three weeks. Luckily since episode three this season has been firing on all cylinders and focused in a way it wasn’t for those first few weeks.
Yeah I wasn’t that into last season until a few episodes in, and even then thought it was a subpar season overall. But even still, a subpar season for this show is way better than most shows, so I still loved it.
See, it wasn't until the back half of the season that I became on board with the fatwa story, which was a major part of the whole season. I agree that the MeToo plot was lame but it was a pretty small of the episodes and they all had great jokes regardless.
Larry arriving to a flight less than an hour ahead of time is sociopathic and I refuse to believe he does that got so anxious when he hadn't left and it was nighttime "you went over the appetizer allotment"
I don't normally push it under an hour, but I routinely show up an hour early for a flight. Hasn't done me wrong yet, haha.
It depends on the airport. When I fly out of the small Melbourne airport I can get there an hour before my flight and make it to the gate in fifteen minutes. If it is Orlando I give myself the two hours but I usually get through security pretty quickly even though I always end up getting patted down.
I'd put most of this season on par or even a hair better than S9, but the last two weeks haven't done a lot for me
I thought the bit where Jon Hamm’s movie is basically saying LD stole Seinfeld from an Australian sitcom was going to become a bigger thing
Over an extended period of time (let's say 8+ seasons), I'd say Curb, Always Sunny, Seinfeld, and South Park are the most consistently funny shows
