A lot of the episode was very good, but the courtroom scene is among the worst in the history of the show. The show was always at its best when Larry David ignored and manipulated social norms, but making him into an idiot is not funny.
Larry has acted like an idiot on several occasions throughout the years. Totally not seeing your point. I thought this episode was fantastic, best one of the season yet. Elizabeth Banks was amazing.
Finished S8 today so I am officially ready to watch the new episodes. This show is so fucking funny, I'm so glad I finally took the time to watch it after putting it off for years
Honestly the speed that I watched it at kind of makes this a hard question, a lot of it blends together (in a good way). I will say that I think my favorite seasons were 4 and 7. I also feel like the supporting cast doesn't get enough love on this show. Jeff, Susie, Leon and Richard Lewis are all hilarious whenever they show up (not a fan of Funkhouser though) Also watched all of S9 so far today so I am officially caught up. As somebody who just watched all of this in a row, there was absolutely no noticeable difference at all. Can't imagine how thrilled long-time fans are
yeah the Funk is great. Jeff is the funniest by far, him and Larry David together are just fucking hysterical.
Larry yelling at Leon and Swat last week when he was on the phone and calling them nincompoops was something else.
Susie is incredible throughout. She's probably my favorite. Also whenever Wanda appears and calls out Larry on being racist
