Bay Dream Rats Dip Bee Kind Chinatown Don’t worry So Busted Dream On Jealous S’why Calm E Turn it off
Probably one of the funnest shows I’ve been to in a while. I think 10 bands total played? They just shared equipment and each got 10 minutes. The new songs live have an edge to them, kinda like their Peact stuff. The crowd went off for Rats and Bee Kind. I had to come out of dive retirement.
That’s awesome to hear, I pulled up a few IG videos and the new songs definitely have that heavy edge to it. Very excited to see them again
I would drop Dozy and put in So Busted but otherwise its a flawless record in my eyes. I've listened to it at least once a day so far.
Culture Abuse, Finding Peace in Punk Rock: For a long time, Culture Abuse's 31-year-old frontman David Kelling didn't want to perform in public. As all five members of the San Francisco-based punk band opened up about things they've tried to work through, Kelling, who has Cerebral palsy, said he felt that "[the frontman] is supposed to be good looking, in shape and this and that ... and so it is hard" when he "didnt really have any examples" of lead singer/songwriters who played with disabilities, and now that the band goes on tour, he added that "it's also hard to be the person now that is an example.” 10% Happier with Dan Harris by ABC News on Apple Podcasts
Saw them on Saturday and goddamn are they best They opened with 5 songs off Bay Dream (I intiially thought they were about to just play the whole record since they were going in order but cut it off after Bee Kind) into So Busted and then played 5 off Peach Crowd was really tame until Bee Kind and then the Peach songs the room turned all the way up. They sounded great and I love the hardcore/fast/yelling they add to the new songs live Really excited for the future of this band
