lol, Cruella with "The Future" on her face. I can't tell if Craig Gillespie & Emma Stone are being intentially ironic or if the Disney algorithm broke, but I'm so into this The Joker Wears Prada mess.
There's a ton of reasons to hate this - the Burton-esque color palette, on-the-nose needle drops, the fact that we didn't need a Cruella origins story, its length - but Emma Stone and Emma Thompson facing off in a "Devil Wears Prada" showdown makes it worth it, along with Paul Walter Hauser. I had more fun than I expected.
