I've only seen The Hulk which was an interesting take, and Taking Woodstock which wasn't really memorable

Billy Lynn looks good, I like the idea of more ambivalent war movies , like Born On The Fourth of July

I'll add that The Ice Storm is worth checking out

What I think is interesting about Ang Lee is his ability to sort of meander from genre to genre, from big budget flashy films to smaller outputs and everything in between. To make Hulk and Brokeback Mountain back-to-back is pretty unique. Maybe Hulk was just a payday for him, but still.

Life of Pi is gorgeous and one of the few movies where I had no problem with an overabundance of CGI.

Brokeback Mountain is one of my favorite movies of the 00's. Every time I revisit it, I remember how great Heath Ledger was and it makes me miss him even more.

I haven't seen Lust, Caution or Taking Woodstock. Lust, Caution seems like it would be very good, Taking Woodstock looks pretty average.

Brokeback Mountain is an absolutely incredible film. The nature cinematography is stunning, and it's a really nuanced portrayal of sexuality with a lot of room for fluidity and emotion. Unfortunately, aside from Hulk, which I saw in theaters and don't remember very well, that's all the Ang Lee I've seen.

I honestly think I've only seen Crouching Tiger and Hulk.

I actually think Hulk is pretty good.

Life of Pi and Crouching Tiger are both great. Other than that, I saw Hulk when it was newish and enjoyed it at the time, but that was twelve years ago

  8. Brokeback Mountain is a pretty incredible love story. I need to watch it again, cause it knocked me out the first time I saw it. Loved the cinematography and the performances, especially Ledger.

I know the focus is on the two male leads but I always felt sympathy for Michelle Williams character.

Late quote, but you have to see Crouching Tiger at least.

Brokeback more than got my attention, I truly love that film, so I'm definitely interested in delving into that and the rest of his work when I have the opportunity.
