The way in is through Odalisque imo - just needed that one song to hook me and that was it. Incredible song.

 

I remember hearing "Drugwolf" and thinking "This is like Brand New, but better"

Funnily enough I really started to get into Brand New to fill the Crime in Stereo-shaped hole in my heart. Weird how things work out.

they had essentially parallel careers but crime in stereo started as Long Island hardcore and the other band started as Long Island pop punk. always thought that was funny.

 

This band have always been kind of a blind spot for me, but I like these new songs quite a bit

 

Young is an insane track. Love it every time after 13 years of listening.

Self produced. A couple of members are producers themselves.

My god the lead tones on this are after my own heart. It's like the weirder tones of The Twilight Sad thrown in with LIES era bands.

Also from Long Island and I’ve only been a casual fan of them, but I recently listened to Is Dead and IWTTDYTS and v much enjoyed them. Hyped for this comeback.
