Did you see all that Renee shit on twitter? Seems like it could be a creeper thing, or at least someone in that circle of UK bands that’s jumping on the Creeper marketing thing (a la Shone/BN). I guess we’ll find out either way tomorrow evening.
Alma was keeping this thread going for a while earlier in the week. Then after a bit her account got renamed into Renee and she started posting weird stuff like in the emails. Nervus, Milk Teeth, Miss Vincent and a few others have posted some stuff. The clues lead you to the case of the Enfield poltergeist which is generally believed to be a hoax by two sisters. Renee Heyes was one of the paranormal investigators on this case. The conjuring 2 was also loosely based off this. Enfield Poltergeist - Wikipedia Like I said might be creeper related as they did something similar a while back (or another band trying to eat attention, or someone mucking about lol). All the journo’s and bands I saw getting involved tend to love in the same circles as Creeper. I guess it’s just a case of wait and see.
Yeah I’ve been thinking it’s creeper related all week, it is very them. I just hope if it is from the Feldman sessions that it still sounds like them.
I honestly just want to see them before they drop a new record because I haven't gotten to see anything really
Interesting. One of those posts from earlier today says "one day remains until the exorcism" so I guess we'll find out tomorrow?
Did not realise they were so high up the Reading and Leeds line up. Like they're on right before Post Malone on the main stage. That's crazy.
Clicked on this thread by accident and I'm glad I did. In my opinion this is far better than it being Creeper related.
The crowd was absolutely appalling for them. So many people who had no idea who they were, but they played really well.
Thought they sounded really tight at Reading. Still gutted I missed them on their headline run for this album.
Yeah the performance was good but it was easily the worst of the nine times I have seen them live. They’ve always been an 8, 9 or 10 out of 10 but the dead crowd was horrific.
If only I had money right now... How many times have you seen them now @Jake W ? I remember being taken aback that you'd seen them so many times before their first full-length had even come out.
15 I think (maybe 16, I'll count them later lol). I haven't seen them yet this year somehow. Definitely going to that London show.
