What a fucking show! Collective Soul has so many jams. Fuel's first two albums are sweet. Tonic has that one song about if you could only see. Creed's first album My Own Prison still holds up so well. Human Clay and Weathered have some great tracks as well.
This was perfect timing since I was tagged in this thread. Over the long weekend we went to my parents to BBQ and my dad is always jamming to some sweet dad rock or whatever you want to call it. Creed came on and I noticed he titled the album "Maximum Creed" and the song "Higher and Higher" which almost had me in tears. I dunno if anyone else will find it as funny as me though. I love whenever baby boomers and technology mix.
The new Alter Bridge album is phenomenal!! One of the most consistently excellent bands in hard rock.
Interesting if true. I know Tremonti has said repeatedly it would only be a matter of timing, but I frankly thought Alter Bridge and his solo career would keep him tied up forever. I'd love to get new Creed though. Fuck the haters.
Probably will lead into a tour next summer. Still can’t believe I sat like 2nd row for Creed at Jones Beach back in the day. Funny how musical tastes evolve. If they get 3 Doors Down on the summer tour I’d be here for it.
I really hope they make a new album someday. Alter Bridge and Tremonti are great, but I think there's something about Creed's music that's just missing from the other groups. And no, it's not just Stapp.
Before they announced, I had plans to travel to a few shows with friends in different cities. None of our cities are on the route. Big sad.
scott and mark are in this new superbowl commercial for paramount plus, they look and sound fantastic! :)
