I LOVED Creed back in the day. They were on top of the world! Scream 3!

Honestly not that bad.

 

I still enjoy everything they’ve put out, even Full Circle.

 

This leans a bit further on the side of Butt Rock I don't enjoy so much, a la Hinder/Theory Of A Deadman. Glad he's active and not homeless though.

 

New single, new album, new look.

 

That first Creed album was full of bangers.

He looks clean and sober, good for him.

 

Man, I can’t believe it took until 2019 for Scott to cut his hair.

I’m also still stuck on how Weathered nearly went Diamond, yet it’s an album that has been forgotten to the dustbin of history. But, I still remember listening to that album all. The. Time. Embarrassingly enough, my senior year, in my ears during computer science class hahaha. Wish I’d had Last.fm back then to chronicle how much I listened to that album, start to finish.

I loaned the cd to a friend of mine’s boyfriend at the time, and never saw it again. I’ve gone back to the album since, and I’m just not into that kind of rock music now. Nevertheless, Creed was def one of those bands EVERYBODY listened to until no one did anymore.

 

I just can’t believe there’s so little Alter Bridge discussion on this site. Great on Scott for looking clean and healthy though, wishing him the best.

 

In terms of radio rock, this isn't terrible. Glad he's doing better.

 

Also, Alter Bridge is beginning work on their sixth album!!

 

I remember hearing Higher on the radio for the first time, my mate and I pulled over and sat in awe listening to it! The production was so kick ass compared with their first album. I love especially love Creed's heavier tracks but my favourite track is Is This The End.

 

Watched this eating my breakfast today. Man that song still goes hard. Also the nonsensical basketball. Music videos then and now are super dumb.

I only ever had Weathered as a full album by them. Otherwise it was just the radio singles I heard. Me and my Sony portable CD player riding around with my parents listening to Creed (and Fuel. 1st two Fuel albums are good).

 

I totally get people’s nostalgia for this band, but it really baffles me that Alter Bridge gets no discussion on here.

I never really gave them a chance. I liked songs I heard, but Creed was always a nostalgia thing for me over the years.

 

Give their album Blackbird a shot! Definitely has a lot of the classic Creed sound instrumentally, and the hooks are massive. Just a great rock album front to back.

Who would have thought I would be skimming a Creed thread on Chorus! Love it! Creed, Alter Bridge and Tremonti are legit!

I’m seeing Collective Soul, Fuel and Tonic at the end of the summer.

They just got done doing a Cruise and it was MASSIVE. Their following on Facebook is like no other band.

 

Holy shit. Had no idea they were capable of pulling that off. I'll have to check out some videos.
