Creature Commandos (Max)

This is an animated series that’s the first project of James Gunn’s new DC universe. The first two episodes are up now. Can’t wait to check it out tonight! The animation in the trailers looked awesome.

 

Dang, the first episodes were super good. I love these characters already.

 

Can’t say I’m a fan of this. I think if you take out all the James Gunn-isms (unnecessary sex, violence, and needle drops), there’s a good show underneath it all. It’s just really hard to care about these characters and the heart of the show when the maturity level drops immediately after any nice/meaningful moment.

 

Mostly loved the first 3 eps of this. A good sign for what's to come from Gunn's DC imo.

 

Episode 4 of Creature Commandos was heartbreaking :(

 

awesome to see, 7 episodes was definitely not gonna be enough

 

First episode was ok. Not enough to make me stop watching anyways haha. Had no idea this was a direct sequel to The Suicide Squad

 

Ok yeah this show rules. Never thought they could make me feel for the weasel haha

 

Yeah, this was a blast. I love James Gunn's stuff. I can't wait to see his Superman.

Only 7 episodes so it's pretty short yeah. I finished it in one sitting.

 

I get this is Suicide Squad and anyone can die at anytime, but I’m pretty bummed about Nina.

This was fantastic. I just binged the season. James Gunn did another fantastic job, i loved all the characters and their interactions with each other. The backstory for each character in each episode were all well done. Can’t wait for season two , I hope GI Robot gets to kill more Nazi scum
