It was interesting seeing Greg and Nathaniel in the same video together, haha. I really have come around on Nathaniel and enjoy his character a lot.
I had been interested in watching this show for a long time, and finally started it like a week ago and binged it like it was my job and now I’m caught up and wow I love love love it.
In all honesty, I’m glad that I binge-watched it (even though I’m real bummed I now have to wait for new episodes like everyone else!!!) and that I chose to do so now, bc the last few current episodes of season 3 really sealed the deal for me. Also, greatly changed my perspective on certain aspects of the show I maybe was less than sold on up until those episodes, or re-contextualized them rather. This show is absolutely brilliant, but requires a level of patience I honestly don’t expect of most people, so I do kind of get where the people who jumped ship came from/why it’s got a relatively small fan base to begin with. That said, that patience pays off in spades. It is important to view the show holistically and not judge it too much on an episodic basis, and unfortunately, that’s hard to do when you’re watching it weekly.
My favorite is Let's Have Intercourse, but I can't be objective about Scott Michael Foster. This is the 4th show where I full on fangirl crush on him. Actually, it's the 5th, but I'm embarrassed to admit I watched Blood & Oil.
I haven't watched Halt and Catch Fire yet actually. Something to look forward to! I've seen SMF in Chasing Life and Once Upon A Time. But we both know Cappie is his best!
