Ending was fine but I think I liked the concert special more than most of this season. Just really never gave a shit about the love quadrangle. Also felt like they phoned in the songwriting in the home stretch. Just a lot of reprises and the stuff that wasn’t was really sloppy.
This is a show I would have been fine with having a fairy tale type ending or a cheesy montage showing the rest of these characters lives, would have really worked even. I don’t think a cut to black ending works here
As some other people said, this was a great finale but a fine episode of television. Certainly understand if anyone was let down by this
