the newest episode was definitely the weakest so far, but i'm still loving this show. so stoked for Pete that it got picked up for season 2!
I'm wondering how accurate he made his TV parents to be based on his real parents. And when Pete was on the Nerdist podcast, he said in real life his wife told Pete's parents about the divorce over the phone.
Holy shit his mom giving him notes after his set (and fairly valid ones, at that) This one was really good. Lauren was great.
I loved this week's episode. I really enjoyed seeing him find his footing. Sarah is such a delight. Good use of Bright Eyes too! My favorite episode so far I think.
him knowing Sarah from Wreck-It-Ralph and Eiffel 65 playing in the Rachael Ray scene were both perfect
Yeah this was definitely my favorite so far, loved seeing the gig go great for him so much. Will never understand why anyone wouldn't like Sarah Silverman too
It's almost too much sometimes and I feel like if I didn't know that a ton of this actually happened I wouldn't believe it.
I feel kinda dumb for this but I had no idea that the show was actually based on events from his life? Other than the divorce I guess. Loved this week's episode. The bit where they were all doing the "pretend you didn't get it" thing was a great scene.
Yeah all the stuff about his childhood, religion, wife all that stuff pretty true to what happened from what I remember. I haven't listened to his podcast in forever.
Before he pursued comedy he figured he'd become a youth pastor. And when it comes to losing his virginity on his wedding night, he's quite open about jizzing at four and a half thrusts.
