The main cast looks good and I’m sure the acting will be fine. It’s really a matter of if the scripts and direction can bring the world to life. I think selling non-superhero sci-fi to the public is hard these days

 

Looks a bit like cosplay. I'll check it out but idk

 

Definitely looks very cosplay, but I like what they did with Faye.

The Bebop set also looks pretty cheap in the photos, hopefully looks better on the show. I have very low expectations but I am super curious.

I really like John Cho but still don't think he's right for Spike

I genuinely don't even understand the tone they're going for. Everything looks so cheap and campy

I'm really torn on this. Faye's dialogue is pretty bad and forced, but I think they cast Jet perfectly. I just hope those comic panel transitions aren't part of the actual show and was just a gimmick for this teaser.

 

Trailer was too long(for me). But it seems okay. I might watch. Wasn’t huge on the anime. Was really surprised many had it as their number 1.

 

Its not so much a trailer. None of the footage is going to appear in the show.

 

I am genuinely baffled by the tone and look they’re going for. It’s so cheesy and cheap looking. It looks like Scott Pilgrim. The hokey comedy? Doesn’t have the vibe of the anime at allll

 

I honestly don't know how I feel about what I just watched. It looks ridiculous, but I can't decide if it's a fun kind of ridiculous or just a ridiculous kind of ridiculous.
