I lost a lot of faith in music after Saosin. And I stopped listening to heavy music. This is one of those moments where I feel like everybody, even if they’re 34 or 30, are going to be that 21- or 22-year-old kid that they were when they went to see Scary Kids. And the whole place is just going to explode. Thank you so much. This is like a freaking dream come true aha. This band was everything to me back then and so was Saosin's self-titled, what a day man.
Lol it would be so rad if they somehow got a band like Secret and Whisper or Sky Eats Airplane to come together for support
Samesies, some of the most formative years for my music tastes. Also the years I discovered ap.net so not a coincidence
Damn S&W was dope as hell Great White Whale was such a great album. Sky Eats Airplane I loved when it was just the duo but was pretty meh on once Jerry joined. They were also "local" for me so that could have something to do with it
That first ep was something else. I couldn’t get into any of their other stuff except for the opener on the next release
This makes me think of Drop Dead Gorgeous. I’d love to see them again but that will never happen while 888 are around
THISSSSSSSSS! Illuminaudio is stellar and does laps around anything else the band has done. Also, I am a gigantic Emanuel fan. I would also absolutely love to see Secret and Whisper too.
I was in love with Emanuel growing up. My only issue with them was that they never played more than like 8 songs live, even on their headliner
I loved that band at the time but they were absolutely atrocious live. But I think I didn't see them live until after Aaron left
Good for him. I still feel bad Cove got a bad rep all those years because he wasn't experienced and couldn't string together consistent performances. Good for this dude
