Yea this is excellent. Not surprised because I love her stuff. Surprised because I wasn’t that hyped for this particular release? Idk why. But it’s great.

 

I think this is fantastic. I feel like she branched out a good amount and it really paid off. Every song had me grinning.

I'm seeing her Monday and I'm very excited to see she's been playing the whole album front to back at these shows.

Oh shit, I was holding off looking at set lists for when I see her, but your post has made me check it out. Wow, can't wait to hear these songs live, such a cool idea. Was kinda hoping she'd give a run out to at least one song off Lotta Sea Lice, but can't complain at that set.

 

Oh sorry I didn't think, I should've spoiler tagged it! But I just got excited when I saw that haha I feel like these are going to really sound great live.

For what it's worth, she did throw in Over Everything at the most recent show, but it looks like that was cus Kurt was actually there to perform it with her, so I doubt it'll be a regular thing.

 

Just peeped the setlist and wow, that’s so good. I’m even more excited now. I’ve practically seen every Courtney song I wanted to live (including some b-sides), so getting the opportunity to see the whole new album will rule.

I hope it’s still the case come July

 

How cool of a song is Help Your Self god damn so groovy. I'm in love with this whole album really

I appreciate Sunday Roast so much more hearing it as a closer. Those last 2 minutes are really something and a fantastic way to close the album.

Idk. Kurt Vile joking didn’t get one, no BNT this time around. I wouldn’t be surprised either way this time around.

 

What do people think of Charity? Only heard it a couple of times and I both love it and am confused by it at the same time. Doesn't feel like a very "Courtney" song to me, I don't know.
