Could never really get into much by Courtney Barnett but am fully into Kurt Vile so it could be interesting

 

Courtney and Kurt will each get to play their own songs too, right?

Starting to get into Kurt Vile a bit more recently. Hadn't heard Wakin on a Pretty Daze until I picked it up this week and it's easily the best thing I've heard by him. Incredible record.

Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett: Inside Indie-Rock Superduo's New Album

Single tomorrow, album is called Lotta Sea Lice and it's out in October.

 

Slightly disappointed that there'll be a bunch of covers on the record, was really hoping for all new material. But I'll take as much new Courtney as I can possibly get.

The wait between the announcement and this song was so long that I kind of lost interest. Decided to buy Front Bottoms tickets for the night of the show I was going to because (long story but) I ended up paying like $85 against my will for the Courtney/Kurt ticket so I thought whatever might as well just make some money back and go to the cheaper show, but now I know I'm going to regret it come tomorrow morning.

 

Single is a jam, I love it.

 

Tracklist and artwork is on Apple Music. Album out the 13th of October.

 

Exactly like I predicted, I'm now questioning the decisions I've made. I may try to go to the Empty Bottle show if I sell my Thalia Hall ticket, but then it'll still cost me more.
