Nothing. They know no history of the band or ever paid attention, they're essentially trolling me for speaking out against the criticisms made about Counterparts when they were brought up in The 1975's thread.

 

I don't think you need to know the history of a band to think they aren't good

 

the funny thing is it's gone past caring about the quality of the band it's more just a funny meme at this point

 

It's nothing but trolling which I thought you get banned for except when it entertains the mass doing it. Then it's ok apparently.

Just remembered when I wore my shirt with the lyrics to Compass on the back and a late middle aged woman came up to tell me and my friends how much she liked the lyrics on it. I doubt she liked it as much when she listened later and heard them being screamed but hey.

I prob shouldn't address it anymore. Doesn't bother me but I tend to respond and I think that's what enables it. Difference of opinion led to me being called a piece of shit and trolled for 3 days.

that's why i don't understand why anyone talks about bands that should not be supported at all, even in a negative light (except for informational reasons of course). whatever comes up, a band will still get fans out of it

 

I heard a cp and enjoyed it for what it was. I had absolutely no problem with what's his face posting about cp in that mfc thread. The meme is just too funny to pass up.

 

Brendan is a huge fan of The 1975, so I mean he'd probably agree hahahaha

 

Yeah, strikes me as strange too. Not the best behaviour but he's not helping himself to be fair.

Regardless, band is very good. Let's ban all discussion of The 1975 in this thread from here on in.

 

to be fair, Brendan does absolutely love the 1975. (I love counterparts btw)

 

Also some of the nicest dudes I've ever met. Went to their tent signing at warped and they were so genuine and interested in what I had to say. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through the line and got to talk to each member for a couple minutes.
