To be fair, I could easily grab three Ixora tracks I loved, but I'm such a full-album person that I had to show my undying support for Eat Sleep.
Looking at my real top 15 and it's pretty much exactly the same with "Take Care" and "You Have My Attention" swapped out for a couple more ESR tracks.
Maybe I'm remembering from before Ixora came out. There may also be some recency bias going, but I dunno I feel like it blows everything else out of the water.

I feel like Copeland often suffers from recency bias. I remember YAMS being the popular pick after it came out. I'll say this, the highs of Ixora are some of the best the band has ever done. However, the lows of Ixora are well below the lows ESR (and super minority opinion BMT) for me.
Can't rank em, but my top 15 is: When Paula Sparks California Love Is a Fast Song Should You Return Good Morning Fire Eater Have I Always Loved You Disjointed I Can Make You Feel Young Again Erase Ordinary Like a Lie Chiromancer World Turn In Her Arms You Will Never Starve Like I Want You
ESR is my favourite but nothing on Ixora is as throwaway as "Cover What You Can" for me. BMT is the only album of theirs with songs I skip though.
Yeah I think this is very true (on the first point). Ixora really only has one weak track for me and it's still probably around the same level as the middling or weaker tracks on other records.
