Wondering if this is a reimagining album. Ixora and maybe the sun is YAMS? Idk. Hope it’s new music though!!
Aaron posted a video on Instagram last year at some point of a reimagined version of something from In Motion I think EDIT: Found it.
They posted another one. Same time as yesterday. Thinking we’ll get daily teasers leading up to a single and/or announcement of some kind Friday?
A reimagined versions of YAMS would either disappoint me because that record's already perfect, or would just flat out kill me if they've found a way to make it better. I think it's probably my favorite Copeland album.
Agreed, no need to revisit anything from ESR on in my opinion would be interested in a revisited In Motion though
I don't really care about any revisited songs although I'm sure they'll be cool if that's what they're doing. I really want some new stuff though.
I’ll take anything they give me but I for sure would rather have new music than reworked stuff. I know Aaron has said in the past that In Motion wasn’t really the album he wanted to release, so it would be interesting to hear his new take on it.
im sure whatever this is will have that new version of every silence he was hinting at around last year. that tiny clip of woodwinds in the teaser has me intrigued too
I would much rather take new stuff than revisited stuff. Hoping that’s the case. Honestly, if they redo anything besides In Motion, I don’t think it’ll work for me. ESR and YAMS are already perfect musically, and BMT is too close to my heart to change anything.
rerecorded version of Coffee coming tomorrow. looks like it'll be a part of a larger project called Revolving Doors. here's the art.
I'd love to get some new music, but that obviusly looked like teasing for some redos - I'll be glad to listen to whatever we can get with Aaron's voice on it ;d
