The person who recorded the youtube video mentioned it in the comments here: Otherwise, I haven't seen anything.
Here's a little supporting info from the Facebook event page ... show was insane by the way Lakeland rock band Copeland will release a sixth album in Spring 2018, perfect timing for a collaboration with the Imperial Symphony. While many ISO musicians have performed with Copeland in concert and album recordings, this will be the first time a full symphony has accompanied the band on stage.
Can I still feature it in my AOTY list if I haven’t heard it? The thought of new Copeland is better than a lot of albums I’ve heard this year, ha!
Pope sounds unbelievable ... Copeland is just one of those bands that doesn’t ever disappoint. I cannot wait for a new album - man...
Hopefully with a new song out there we’ll get something about it soon. I will say I’m going to hold off listening to anything Listened to the recording and the singles of Ixora enough that I have to give it a break so hopefully hearing nothing will keep it fresh
Today a close friend of mine showed me a queue of about 30+ music recommendations that she hasn't gotten to yet. All of them were at least solid, but somewhere far down the list was Ixora suggested by a friend at work (I'm both proud her friend knew of the album and ashamed I hadn't suggested it first). Needless to say, I urged her to move it to #1 in her queue. Genuinely can't wait until she listens. She's going to fall in love.
Update: My friend loves Ixora and is especially excited about listening more as it gets colder. She knows what's up.
Ixora was a great and ambitious album for them to return with. They did it right. I don't think they'll do that concept on the next album, but I do think they'll be able to top it. The fact that they don't just rush their albums and make sure it's something they love before sharing is great. They're not releasing music just to release music and they're really taking their time. I'm stoked for what the future holds.
