  1. i love listening to Copeland's music, but seeing them live was the ultimate snooze fest, unfortunately.

I'm excited for the Lulls record, even though I am not huge on Ivan's vocals from what I have heard, I know that musically the album will bring me happiness

the vocals are weak compared to the later stuff and the music isn't that interesting as well
as all of that record is

The other Lulls songs are super good. Can't wait for this. Also Walking Downtown was amazing in highschool... as a 27 year old adult, not so much. Also I'm pretty sure Aaron doesn't like that song at all

Walking Downtown is a walk down nostalgia lane.

  7. Seen them 4 times since Ixora and they've been nothing short of incredible each time. The only other time I saw them was in 2005 and they were boring as hell. It was a great show otherwise though, with Gatsby's American Dream and The Starting Line as the other two openers and Cartel as the headliner.

Lulls is cool generally but I'm not into the rapper.

    Walking Downtown is bad.

Their post Ixora live shows have been incredible. Truly inspiring.

    I do not exist.

Just got an email announcing the new Propaganda record and unless I'm mistaken it looks like Aaron Marsh has provided some vocals or music:

    4. Cynical feat. Aaron Marsh & Sho Baraka

I know we've got The Lulls coming but it's cool to see him getting involved with hip hop / spoken word music.

I was curious about this too; I'm not aware of another musician by that name, so I'm hoping it's him!

Lulls record is up on all streaming sites and available on their site as a "pay what you want" thing. Thoughts?

i've gotten through about half of it. coldest night is a highlight so far, the rest is solid. i tend to not like the rapping parts but i dig a lot of the instrumentation.

Love it so far, cool that Regret and Rope to Pull Yourself together are on it. It makes me want another Copeland record even more now.

I personally love it! The soundscapes are amazing, strings are so well-thought, totally don't mind the rapping, such a cool project. Only listened twice so far, but I'm sure I'll bet getting back to it more.
