I Can Make You Feel Young Again was the highlight of my show, that song hits me so hard and seeing it live only amplified that feeling

 

Might be my favorite Copeland song.

Erin and Night Figures. Erin is a b-side and I guess NF was written post-Ixora. Erin has a little hip hop vibe to it imo, meanwhile Night Figures couldve fits super well on Ixora.

 

Night Figures really is something special. A perfect microcosm of the band tbh

 

Dressed Up & In Line has most of them, otherwise I can try to add what I have later

 

They are such perfect music for winter mornings.

 

I love this, and can definitely hear it now, BUT you should bold the I in I'm instead

 

They bold the IN in the lyrics on the CD

 

fo real? I think they fucked up too then, haha. The way he sings it definitely emphasizes the I in I'm

i'm finally getting into this band. disagree with literally everyone on the first page who thinks beneath medicine tree is some minor stairstep to where they would eventually get, they kinda arrived fully-formed imo. it's beautifully produced, the concept is loose yet really emotionally effective, "when paula sparks" is a perfect song, etc.

 

the individual songs on in motion are fucking incredible though, especially "don't slow down" and "love is a fast song"

 

anyway, new favorite band status

 

Well, to me BMT is still amazing, but it's just a fact they've been growing stronger and stronger with each album ;D

 

Yeah i love BMT, its fantastic. Coffee, California, When Paula Sparks are some of my favorite songs. But they definitely got better and better as they went along. I love every album and they are in contention for my favorite band easily. But BMT doesn't hold a candle to YAMS or Ixora
