I think the quadrophonic version is the best, personally. I rarely listen to the twin version on its own, but I do sometimes listen to the regular version.
my problem is I don't want to listen to the quad version mixed down to dual speakers, I want the real experience. It just requires more work for me to get it to happen
Yeah, admittedly I haven't done that, and I might never be able to listen to it another way if I did. But it still sounds great mixed down to dual speakers, trust me.
Another VIP question- when did you hear about details for it? Mine is Monday and I haven't received any emails about it.
The show last night was so spectacular. This setlist feels like a love letter to Copeland fans, and the band sounded awesome for the full two hours.
They sent me an email the day before. It ended up in my junk folder so you might want to check there.
No, but I just got home from an appointment and there's the email. lol. I was right on the nose, too - 6pm!
Boo. I'm probably heading over soon (I'm in Troy, so it's an hourish), if only to grab a burger and a drink. I'd rather be able to get in line fairly early.
I'm right up front :3 Do they stay out after the show to meet people? Silly question since I'm seeing them tomorrow, but I'm curious
There was a guy by me who threatened to beat up one of the assholes by me. It was a good time. Never been to a Copeland show that rowdy (if you could even call them that). I got kind of pissed at the dudes yelling and the people talking when Aaron played solo. But aside from the shitty crowd, it was amazing.
Bummer. I didn't notice much of that. I was in the balcony. Was annoyed by people yelling out songs but that's a given.
That was some set. Rae Cassidy is a ridiculous talent. Her voice brought me to tears on her second song.
Holy shit...seriously. And hearing all of her parts from yams. There was just no coming back. Fucking gone the entire set.
Seeing them in Grand Rapids tonight. I'm so excited, my favorite local band is reuniting for a show after 4 years apart on the same night in the same city but there are very few bands I'd skip Copeland for. Also, for those of you who went last night, approximately how long after doors opened did Rae go on?
