Four hour drive plus a hotel room. I'm not super happy that they didn't swap my VIP ticket to Columbus, but I'm pretty okay with being able to see them twice.
Bummed I couldn't do VIP this time but still so excited. I hope they release those extra songs eventually.
Not seeing them since the farewell tour I had forgotten how much I love them live. Easily my favorite live band. What an insanely good set that was tonight. I absolutely love these guys. Easily top 5 band for me, probably top 3
Random, but, do you remember what sort of merch they had? Trying to budget out of my show before I go. haha
I bought the baseball tee and have been wearing the shit out of it since the show haha. It's so comfortable!
I snagged that Beneath Medicine Tree shirt and got the poster as well. It was hard I love all the march they had
Has anyone done VIP? Are they doing acoustic songs for it? What are they? Rather, don't tell me all of them, but tell me if "I'm a Sucker for a Kind Word" is one of them. Because it needs to be.
They take requests for about 30-35 minutes with Q&A sprinkled in, too. It was fun, Aaron forgot some words to older songs but was a great sport about it. We all sang along to help him out. Then you can take a pic with them and have them sign stuff and talk to them.
oh holy shit. Requests?! FUCK. It sounds like it's basically the reunion tour VIP with requests mixed in. omg.
I didn't make requests at my VIP show, but someone requested "May I Have This Dance?" which was really random but cool. Then there were probably 3 requests that Aaron said he didn't remember how to play. It was fun though. They were really grateful to all the VIPs.
Is it just acoustic guitars like last year at the VIP show? I would love to hear the ixora version of Ordinary, I think it's the only request I would have it I could ask for one. That song came out at one day after my dad passed away and it means so much to me. Would mean a lot to hear live. I thought I read they play the twin version during the show, which I'm still so happy to hear, but the piano only version just has such a special meaning for me. Also, sorry for bringing the thread down, y'all.
It's on the set list for the show, but it's the twin version of the song with that groovy bass. I'm sure he'd play it beautifully on an acoustic guitar if requested during VIP set.
View attachment 4816 Alternative single artwork I created for the song "Coffee" by Copeland. This is unofficial artwork and was not used by the band.
Can someone help me clarify. Are there two or three versions of Ixora? Ixora Ixora Twin Ixora Quadrophonic Is that right or are the twin and quadrophonic the same?
There are 3. Twin is like a remix or alternate version of Ixora, but it was created to both stand alone and also be layered on top of Ixora, which is what the quadrophonic version is.
