Agreed, the setlist is perfect! Thought there's 5 songs per every album, whereas in fact Ixora gets only 4 hmm. Wondering on how many songs Rae sings.
BMT and YAMS both got 6 and IM/Ixora only got 4. I'd have given all of them 5 each but it's still a 10/10 setlist.
Also I just started listening to BMT, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to listen to their whole catalog today.
Has anyone been to the VIP acoustic sets this tour? I'll be there tomorrow in SD and can't wait for the 2 unreleased songs.
I've been on a massive Copeland kick the last few days. Cannot wait for this show. Seeing them Dec 2 in Colombus.
Show was cool. In case anyone missed the tweet that went out a while back, I'd recommend getting there in time to see the whole show, as Rae only plays like three songs and then Copeland immediately starts
So Rae doesn't even walk off the stage after her first set? ..Also, will those new songs be featured anywhere at some point? I'm really just humming the few seconds of "Night Figures" that we've heard in the snippet, and I'm too excited!
Short answer is no Set spoilers: On her third solo song, the drummer and bassist from Copeland (sorry, bad with names) came out to play with her. As that song finished out, the music slowly transitioned into the outro of Not So Tough as the other members walked on stage and began playing their parts. Since Rae is featured on that song on the record, she stayed on stage and sang.
New tracks are sooo good. Night Figures will be on the new record. The second song is called Erin, and will just be a b-side.
If the tracks are in a format that can be shared, is there anyway you can share them with the thread? Would love to hear these but ended up not going to the show.
The band asked that the songs not be shared publicly until the tour was over so that the VIP purchasers would have it as a perk. The songs will probably be on Spotify/iTunes after the tour is over.
